Based on Russell Burden‘s cymatics research at the Folkestone and later contribution in the international Lighthouse Relay event. Wist Rec 004 is a lavish release presented in the classic “jackdaw folder” style containing various types of eco-friendly paper stock. Each set includes a 4-track CD, a topographical map of the Folkestone area, and a set of 7 handstamped, double-sided prints  from Russell’s documenting photographs.

Paper stock used (quantities differ per jackdaw):
Corona 250g: Soft white recycled board. Made from unbleached 100% post consumer waste.
Cyclus 250g: Off-white recycled board. 100% post consumer waste, de-inked.
Marina 220g: At least 50% recycled, FSC certified.
Context birch 250g: made from 80% post consumer waste and 20% elemental chlorine free virgin fibre.

“Musically, this is the best lighthouse release since Plinth’s Music for Smalls Lighthouse, and possibly the best thing recorded in a lighthouse since múm’s Summer Make Good.” – A Closer Listen
